Whimsy Kennels is very proud of the dogs we have produced. Their excellent temperaments make them the perfect family pet... “a big dog in a small package”. We love receiving cards and letters (and pictures too) from many very happy families who adore their much loved companions! It is our goal to produce the best healthy, sound, true to type Corgis who will give many years of enjoyment to the homes they find their way into.  Enjoy the pictures and just a few of the notes from our puppies’ families.  From our hearts to yours --

Testimonials

“I,ve been meaning to send you an email. I just wanted again to say thank you for Winnie. We are so in love with her. She has fit right in with our family. A few of the things we love is when she wakes up she yawns and talks to us. I sometimes think that if she really wanted to she could speak to us, with a voice that is. I love how durable she is. She loves wrestling with our Border Collie. Our temperatures here in Woodruff have been -15 below zero and it doesn't even seem to bother her. On warmer day, like 0-10 degrees she wants to go outside and play for a while. She is growing and is turning into quite a beautiful lady. We get a lot of comments on her hair. We love her fluff! Well I've gushed enough but, I'm sure you understand our feelings. I've included a few pictures in separate emails, I'm having trouble attaching the pictures, so you can she how she has grown.”

“Thank you so much for helping us threw the process of purchasing a Corgi and I must say our pick was a great one. Zoey is a very smart dog and I'm enjoying working with her every day! We have started taking a puppy training class and the first 2 classes she was the only dog that barked cause she wanted to play with the other dogs, but now she is the only dog that can sit, stay, lay down and drop it (I'm so proud of her) but i must say as she has gotten older, I'm seeing her personality develop and she has a sassy attitude when she just wants to play and not work, she lets you know it! but we are working on that one. People have told me that Zoey would be a great treatment dog and I remember you talking about that, with Joe working at St. Lukes we are going to start her in all the proper classes so she can help others. Thank you once again for Zoey she has made our family whole.”

“Well, before I had the time to get to the store to buy the tape, William's (formerly Keno) left ear popped up! His right ear is still down but I am sure it will follow shortly. Just interesting that they took so much longer than I've seen with Corgis before.

He is such a beautiful, symmetrically marked little fellow. He is running the farm already. The 'Labherd' pups are 3 to 1 on him, add a 4th and they can bring him down! What fun he's having with Grandma Rose, Momma Gracey and his nine little 'mates'. Thank you for your careful and well thought out breeding program that promotes the true 'Corgi' look and temperament. He is genuinely 100% exactly what these little dogs are supposed to be. Watching him sleep on the couch by my husband last night (we are NOT a dog/couch family), we both were just amazed at the comical look on his peacefully sleeping face. He's taken on our hearts and has won. Fondly --”

“What a dog! Everybody loves him! Anyone who meets him falls in love with his carefree and gentle spirit and then loves to get him playing and then gets Raleigh (formerly Jolly) kisses. He is a joy to have! Right now he is out helping Kent and the kids finish a play house. He is barking at the broom as Kiley tries to sweep up all of the sawdust. He just barks and she just laughs. He loves the game.

He has grown so much that I can't remember what a baby he was. Although I can't remember life as a family without him. He loves going for rides in the car and walking Kiley to the bus stop in the morning is part of his morning routine. He kennels when he wants and when we ask him to. He is working on coming on our terms, not just his :-) He and Ryan have settled into a loving and playful relationship. They love to play racetrack chase. One minute Ryan is chasing Raleigh around the couches in the family room and the next Raleigh is chasing Ryan. Toddler boys will be boys. Raleigh has a nice bark and has used it when strangers come to the door. A big bark for such a little dog they all say. This is good!  Hope all is well and congratulations on the new arrivals. Can't wait to see their little mugs on your web page. Take care.”
