Whimsy Corgi Tails is a small kennel located in Caldwell near the southwestern corner of Idaho. We have been traditionally a performance based kennel with a few of our performance dogs “crossing over” into the conformation ring. It has been my goal and desire to redirect the future of Whimsy to a more conformation minded kennel. Whimsy will still offer a Corgi with a sound temperament and the physical attributes and tractability necessary for performance venues and be an outstanding companion.
What a difference a year makes! 2007 was an eventful year for Team Whimsy. We traveled Europe visiting our “doggy” friends. We met so many new, interesting people with whom we have formed lasting friendships and partnerships. But I believe the highlight just might have been handling a dog at Crufts, the biggest show in the world. These were not the only highlights of our year because we ended our year with many firsts for our small kennel. This includes sending Whitepoint Bob Marley to Laif-Spring Kennel in Russia and then exporting two of our Whimsy puppies to Laif-Spring, and a third will be heading for Ireland and Jazenta Corgis after a U.S. show career. Team Whimsy will be making a mark in Europe all because we got a LOT of help from our friends.
Please welcome our newest addition, Vera, and our up and comers, Hogan and Shay. Our tailed, future star, Gabbi is co-bred and owned with our sister kennel, Rhoswen Cardigans.
